So I know Eileen's still got a year and Cynric can't move up or down and Declan is absolutely not going to stop being a Five for the rest of his life so help him Butler God, I -do- have some Cards who want to Challenge--and Cards I think ought to -be- Challenged.

Evan and Aleksei can probably Challenge NPCs, because there aren't good candidates who make sense within striking distance, but I feel like Cadogan and Rita--as an Outsider Face and Outsider Nine respectively--should probably get a bit of flak and such for this whole 'in and out' debate. They're also both currently in moderately weakened positions--Rita because of the accounting mess and Cadogan because of the related murder mess, both of which seem like legitimate reasons for them to be Challenged even before you get to the fact they're not Deckborn.

They can also be hit by NPCs, of course, but if anyone wanted a swing at them (or for Evan or Aleksei to take a swing at them), let me know!

Also I like the idea of someone Challenging Cadogan in something related to fashion and feeling very smug because he's neat but utilitarian and then suddenly

No one would expect Avery to win in fashion. They'd all be like YOU SPENT MOST OF YOUR YEARS WEARING JEANS and then suddenly she shows up and SHOWS THEM ALL /o/

(I suspect it would actually be either sharp pointy things or something highly intellectual and perhaps literary.)

I also find it amusing to talk about fashion in the King of Flannel's account. Oh my Diamonds. Not a single one of them can be stereotypes.

Ben could definitely be a Spade. Or a Club. I could easily see him as a Club. I cannot however see Avery in the Spades ever. Unless she became slightly unhinged. Also, imagine for a moment: Alasdair, a Spade. Alasdair. A Spade.

I just get happy with pants that actually fit my legs and hips simultaneously and don't cost much money. It makes my mother pout.

But Qi's mom. Pants are the worst. I used to wear almost exclusively skirts to avoid the pant problem but ha. Chicago has ended that.


He would be the nicest Spade ever. He would basically be the same as he is now except possibly be unconcerned about the societal effects of stabbing. I don't know, that's all I can come up with as I wait for that day to end.

She mostly despairs that I don't wear pretty dresses every day. Or really sharp slacks. She likes my taste in shoes but that's about it.

I mean, I guess Annie is a really nice Spade. And Michael's not so bad. He would be like them. /o/
