HI!

My name is Ky, I was introduced to HoC by Kelz, and I'm so psyched to be here.
I was literally counting the days before I got approved :P

I'm totally new, and I'm bringing with me Yeo In-Su. He's a Korean who came to America for art school. His parents died while he was there, and he became a homeless meth addict as a result. He's shy, a closetted gay, artistic, 24, and desperately in need of some life in order business.

He's an atypical spade/decker, and hopefully gonna be able to take up the apprentice tattooist position. As well as spend time in Frederick's studio.

I'm uber excited to RP with all of you, and I know some of your characters due to some SWS nonsense.

Hopefully more apps to come, as I mature into the game.
I'm still a little confused about the mechanics of the deck, but I'm an experienced RPer otherwise, and hope to get into plenty of threads with you guys.

Welcome Welcome. I am EJ! I play- Hadyn [9 of Hearts] (maskofhearts), Leona [6 of Clubs] (mightbedrunk), Victor [10 of Spades] (morallydefunct) and Clive [Jack of Spades] here.

He did catch Hadyn in a fairly good mood in the voice-testing you were doing. So I can see that continuing to be a trend. Hadyn was born to the Spades, so despite being a Heart? He has a lot of Spade-like tendencies. He's also dating Elisha, the King of Clubs. Generally speaking, Hadyn has no care what-so-ever if people know he's gay. He also comes off as somewhat eccentric thanks to the whole acting thing.

Leona is not someone he will probably know, at least at first. She's like a 180 from his personality. She prefers to date the ladies, but has been known to sleep with the gents. She's loud and outspoken (and somewhat odd-ball in the things she does say.) And she likes to drink. A lot.

Clive and Victor are the two he'll most likely run into. I would not be surprised it someone warns In-Su about Victor, actually. He's the current Head of Security for the Spades- and he is mean. (Though he is a lot nicer since he and Zoe started to date.) He has killed everyone he's challenged or been challenged by since he arrived on Deck 11 years ago. He is sort of known as being a finisher and has become one of those bed time stories that Mothers use to keep children in bed. Generally people try not to piss him off, because his rep suggest you might well die. His rep aside- Victor is actually a fairly decent man. He just doesn't deal with people well, or even like them most of the time. But, he has his moments of complete charm.

Clive, on the other hand, is not your typical Spade. For one, he made it to Nine on non-violent challenges (which is a touch off pace for most Spades). He's the Head of Public Relations, so he tends to be very 'on' all the time. He's chipper, light hearted, and always wanting to help out with the new kids on the block. That isn't to say he can't be harsh, mean, or utterly like a Spade- he just doesn't default to it. He's also going to be named Jack soon, so he'll be in a bit of a transition himself.

In-Su comes from a society where being gay is still very much taboo, and it's very secretive since it's a conservative christian one. He's been in America a few years, but still isn't comfortable being so openly gay. So getting to that point would be good for him, and Hadyn could be a positive influence in that.

You know, He's Korean. So when he drinks, he drinks a lot. It's possible they can meet that way and she can scare him with her loud, obnoxious Western ways :P
