Kat's app is on her journal for people who want all the details, but the short version is as follows:

Sophie's youngest sister, Kat Berthier has been a Six of Diamonds since she beat her eldest sister at kickboxing four years ago and knocked her down to Five. Unlike the twins, however, she hasn't advanced since then. This is a bit of a mystery to most people in the Berthier circle, since the younger Berthier girls are known to be ambitious. People who know her well may guess that a lack of confidence (brought on by her treatment by Gerhardt while they were growing up) is at the heart of the issue. Currently, she works in Event Planning in the Diamonds as a special events coordinator - weddings, parties, wakes, balls, dinners, etc. - and is generally known to be fairly sweet and nice, though she has a serious mean girl streak when she needs to get it out. Challenged mostly in the arts, notably with acting performances; does not act professionally, however.

How did Silas figure out that Kat has confidence issues? She keeps them pretty well hidden and the general assumption is that she's just more interested in having fun (I'm not saying he can't know by any means, but it's not supposed to be something everyone knows, so I'm just trying to make sure the people who have figured it out know it realistically :D)

Hey so I heard you liked mudkips I guess.

Freddy clearly knows her. I believe art shows and general fabulousness were discussed. He came to Diamonds when she was 7 and, as far as has been figured thus far, thinks the Berthier girls are all pretty swell and such.

Cadogan would also probably know her, although that is less obvious a how to me. He showed up when she was 18, so... if I am mathing right, he passed her by as a Six briefly. He didn't get close to Sophie until this last year. I... don't know. They probably know each other. That's all. /o\

I mean. Ahem.

I am good with that. Kat at seven was an adorable little angel ~~until you riled her temper~~ and being an arty type she might have trailed behind him curiously until she was thrown headfirst into Upper Diamond Training Berthier-Style. And then she probably largely disappeared until she was fifteen and got a modicum of freedom to do shit she wanted to do.

As for Cadogan. Erm. I can't imagine there's much crossover between parties and the armory, so my guess is he gets Lord Ten and she reads notes if he actually ever has anything to say to her?

What the hell is a 'themed' canape OKAY HE DOESN'T EVEN CARE HE WANTS THEM AND ALL THE FANCY THINGS FOR AN OCTOBER SHOW. \o/

When abouts did she get snatched? Because his first year was very broody and not wanting to talk to people, especially little girls, although supersweetfantastic children who will later be his favourite might have helped with the pulling himself out of broodiness.

It is something she will make up and then make Gwendolyn aka Avery's Replacement weep over ~~especially since she has no butler~~.

I think that free time slowly disappeared. She was already being tutored at seven, but probably by ten she never got her head out of the books and training. When she was eleven their parents died, though, so there was probably sadfacing and small runaway incidents.

For anyone who is new, or has never ever run into Blythe before:

Came to the Deck soon after she turned nineteen, hit Ten at twenty-two. Warm and loving, easily flusterable, loves making friends, determined to make the most of any situation.

I know I've told a couple people this, but as a general warning(?!) of sorts, her initial acceptance of the position is going to come with a lot of angst and not a lot of happiness. But she'll get over it in a week and then she will be a really awesome Ace, hopefully. :)

SO DOES ANYONE SUDDENLY WANT TO MAKE FRIENDS WITH THE TINY ACE?

My guess, then, is that the first year was very 'grr hiss no go away I hate friends and also rainbows,' but that as he got his life together, he discovered she was fabulous. She could absolutely have sadfaced at him whenever she wanted.

There will be much, much discussion of being a young Ace. You don't even.

Also, Cadogan used to be a runner to Wren while Avery was Jack, so it's possible he still does that and that is how they work on being friends.

All the discussion (and maybe all the clinging soon y/n?! D:). And all the super friendliness. They will make all the Aces be merry and playful and Julien and Sade will lineface so hard. ~~And Avery will join them and Julien will have no choice but to convert I mean what.~~

.... SO BASICALLY WHAT YOU ARE TELLING ME IS THAT.

NOW THEY ARE NO LONGER TEN-FRIENDS.

THEY WILL BECOME FRIENDS.

I UNDERSTAND OKAY.

Clinging is absolutely acceptable. As is being friendly. But Eileen might be in Camp Lineface about being too merry and playful. Just putting that out there. :|

Clive is that guy that everyone loves; somehow, someway. Or if they don't love him, maybe a part of them just wants to be him. He has a great attitude, generally upbeat (some might even say he is a bit Heart-ish). He got to where he was with non-violent challenges, and is a great talker. On a completely non-personal level.

He can't, however, flirt to save his life. He fumbles that ball every time because he tries too hard, and thinks a bit too much.

Um. None of the others reeeeallly care. Leona would give her some congrats, and all. idk how close they really are. Though Leona's a fan of Blythe's man. XD So they might be learning to get along.
