September

While the Arcana might finally have made their big exit, they've left their marks upon the psyche of the Deck members. Very few will forget the state in which Rachel resigned after all all. But not all of this month was full of drama and such. Sophie, Monty and Zoe all made successful challenges. And while the Hearts do not have a new King, yet, they do have a new Ace in Blythe. So now that things seem to be headed toward normal again, all that anyone can ask is...what comes next?

1st - 8th

♦	Frederick - Warns against idle hands, which is a bit funny really. His hands seem to be pretty idle as we speak. But Diamonds are all play and no work, right? Or...is that the Hearts. The red runs all together for us.
♣	Karin - Finds that the coming fall should be ushered in with the sourdough loafs and jam. And why not? Baked goods make everything better, and that is part of a Butler's job is it not? To make things better.
Ɉ	Dybbuk - Works hard and plans his days away. And why is that? Because it a Circus doesn't really run itself- no matter that the movies would like you to think. But don't worry, we're certain that whatever he has in mind will be grand.
♠	Julien - Finds that the best way to teach is by example. Too bad that example sometimes leaves the other party a little too far gone to really appreciate the pains the Ace went threw to teach them. Don't worry Julien, a few of us still appreciate your hard work. Or at least your hard ass.
♦	Vasiliy - Finds that there are games we play for fun, and then there are games we play. What our friendly Russian has up his sleeve, we may never know, but we can certainly say we are teased with guessing. Won't you tell us Vasiliy, dearest? Maybe just whisper it softly in our ear?
Ѧ	Gustave - Knows what history says about Titans that collide. Nothing good. But like all great battles, this one was bound to happen eventually. What's wrong GusGus? Can start the fire but not take the heat? We'd shed a tear for you, but we've grown tired of this game already.
♣	Elisha - Has discoverd that being king is a fairly mind numbing task. But what is a king without a little bit of drama in his life? A happy king, I hear, but some might seem to think it a bit different. What a shame, really. We had high hopes for this Troll King. Suppose we'll have to get used to disappointment.
♣	Monty - Never heard the lyrics- Mama don't let your babies grow up to be Cowboys. Hellbent though he may be, we can't help but wonder why he can't just tame a horse with words. Isn't that how a man's supposed to do it? No? Well don't break your Neck Cowboy. We hear you'd break a poor Heart's heart.
♠	Amy - Challenged a man to a fight and won. Isn't that a shocker for everyone involved? We certainly think so, but a broken toe does hurt like a, pardon our language, bitch. Don't cry, though, Ames. It might not be good for your image. Wait- who are we kidding?
♠	Zoe - Knows that in a man's world, woman take the backseat. But if Woman ran the world? We'd all be in coresets, seducing men with shapely breast. But behind every great man, they say, is a great woman. And every great woman needs her sexy underwear.
♠	Katya - Doesn't like playing by the rules. And when one is Queen, we suppose, she gets to make up her own rules anyway. Never fear though, she probably won't break you. Much.
♠	Meghana - Doesn't believe in playing nice when electronics are at stake. Beware, techno abusers, she's got her eyes on you. And her fist if you aren't careful.
Ѧ	Gustave - Should know that when you fight, you break the things you love. And then The World comes crashing down. Don't worry, this is only the beginning of the end for you.
♣	Evan - Is leaving on a jet plane, and about time. There is only so much of fun and sweet that we can take. But oh, do we ever look forward to the day Evan proves his isn't as Sweet as he looks.
♥	Abby - Doesn't believe in keeping ahold of old things. But really, did she have to sell the car? It is such a classic.
♦	Renee - Knows a woman has to do what a woman has to do. Sadly, one of those things shouldn't be demanding attention from one's boyfriend. Guess somethings never change, with certain other people however.
♣	Leona - Doesn't believe in playing fair with Legos. Someone never learned to play nice in grade school. Or, likely, ever come to think of it.
♣	Pete - Never know so much work went into being the King's personal assistant. Someone should have warned the poor man- but then that would have taken the fun out of it.
♦	Silas - Knows what he wants, and he wants it now. But whats a man to do when the one he loves shuts him down? Can't help but feel for the guy can you?
♣	Briony - Doesn't care that the world is going to Hell in a Hand Basket. It is just another day in paradise for her- drug central.
♣	Monty - Made a run for Five and beat out the poor kid next to him. That really had to smart, but for some reason...we can't think of anything to say bit- Buuurn.
Ɉ	Noel - Doesn't think a pun can be forced, but really. She just goes to show what she knows, doesn't it?

9th - 16th

♠	In-Su - Has know idea what fate has in store for him. But maybe this is a good reason to sober up- because getting high clearly resulted in this. Dorthy, you're not in Kanasa anymore.
Ѧ	Gustave - Is out to gather all the artifacts from each suit, and does some damage along the way. No one taught him to play nice, or lose graciously it seems.
♥	Blythe - Got a surprise and a promotion. But then why is she crying? Isn't Ace the dream every girl has?
♥	Hadyn - Is a trainwreck waiting to happen these days. This poor little nine is not only starting to look a bit thin, but are those cracks? He loos like he might be caving in.
♠	Clive - Goes from Nine to Jack just like that. And wouldn't you know it? He even smiles about it. Pitty he is such a nice guy, we predict this Jack will find it hard to get things done with a smile.
♣	Isadore - Returns with a bang. Just pick a road and walk down it, as they say. But at least things seem a bit easier now that a certain other Jack is gone.
♦	Katriane - Wants to make your next party so very pretty, and you know you want her to, too. In more than just one way, really.
♣	In-Su - Wants to do some lasting art, but alas it looks like Bren isn't as welcoming to that idea. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.
♥	Alasdair - Is trying to think up books for young, impressionable youths to ride. The question is, however, why does he want to ruin good books by making them required?
♠	Zoe - Placed her challenge for Five against Lily, and got a surprise when Lily changed the date. Guess Lily never learned not to read a Heart by her former suit.
♠	Davin - Challenged Nico for Nine. He seems to be of the opinion that it was about damn time. We happen to agree, it is.
♠	Nico - Wants to know why everyone comes by so late. Hasn't anyone in this place ever heard of office hours? Really.
♦	Rachel - Says her good byes to the Town, the Deck and her crown. But maybe change is for the good- she'll have Ceiro to help hold her up at any rate.
♦	Avery - Needs to get away for some air. Her heart is a little broken, but as she knows- every diamond has to shine on.
♦	The Four Suits - Half-priced drinks in the name of mourning just means that some people are going to come for the beer and not much else.
♠	Davin And Nico - Make a show of their challenge, and Davin gets to walk away as a Nine. At least for now, but we have to wonder if Nico has something up his sleeve in challenging the Shark to Pool.
♦	Sophie - Is trying to get over the pain of losing Rachel and part of her library. What will come of things in the end? We might never know.
Ѧ	Gustave - Tries to force the Deck back to their rightful place, but fails epically. As he was doomed to do all along it seems. Still, at least this time he really is going to go home and hopefully not come back.
♥	Hadyn - Pushes on, still. He's looking noticable thinner and yet still working harder than he has in a while. Someone misses momma we think.
♣	Briony - Is wondering about what happened the night before, looking over the green on her way to work. She obviously must have missed the Memo.
♣	Margo - Is finally showing off her pictures from the Spade's ball. And everyone better watch out, she got a few of you picking at your noses.
♦	Sophie - Challenges to eight and knocks down one last sister. Sometimes a girl just has to resert herself as the Queen B around here.
♥	Elisha and Q - Didn't tell anyone, but they switch places from time to time. Clearly Q is the real leader of the Clubs, and just lets Elisha be the face.
♦	Sade - Wants to inspire those around her, and not bring them down. Well, it is a good thought at least. Just say it with a little more force next time.
♥	Teddy - Wants to discuss what his future might be. And what he wants to be...well, he's a teenager. It is likely to change next week.
♠	Nico - Rights a wrong, and ends Davin's stint as a Nine. Eveyrthing restored to its rightful order means it is time for a drink, and hoping that doesn't happen again for a while yet.

17th - 23rd

♣	Elani - Is out walking her dog, and smiling away. At times we have to wonder if she knows how to be not happy...and then that just kills mean.
♥	Jordan - Is giving out compliments during training? Now we know something is wrong, because when did he start doing that? Oh, honey bear...maybe you should lay down.
♣	Karin - Doesn't want to feel rushed into things. So that means you need to hold your horses and try saying that just one more time.
♣	Evan - Forgot his phone, but no worries! His roommate is there to answer, and then be baffled by all the people on the other end of the line.
♥	Alasdiar - Is working on his next great...mystery? Well, some people wil just never been great. Try not to cry too much into your tea.
♦	Sade - Makes her presence known as Queen for the first time. The question is, can the former Ace live up to the woman she replaced? How knows. Long Live the Queen.
♠	In-Su - Is finally starting to find his place in this crazy world he's wandered into. Too bad the Big Bad Spade of his nightmares crashed his party. Luckily not every customer is as terror inducing.
♦	Kat - Is a sad Diamond, but who isn't these days. Maybe Royals should consider the poor blondes before they go off and get themselves hurt. Oh...well, maybe not. Work it out sweety, that ass won't tone itself, you know.
♠	David - Has to decide between the Green and the Blue. But why, is the real question. Is there, dare we say, romance in the air between the King and his former Queen? Our Drama glands weep with the teasing. Just tell us.
♠	Chives - Loses his favorite Diamond, and we all have our hearts broken a little. No one likes to see their favorite Spade break slowly. Chin up, friend, you matter to us. Just a little. Too much more, though, and we'd have to turn over out 'Heartless' club membership. Sorry.
♠	Zoe - Takes her frustrations out on targets. Who said bows and arrows weren't sexy? Clearly she's out for the role of the Next Great Robin Hood.
♦	Leigh - Can't deal with death. But then the Diamonds lost not only their Queen but their favorite ghoul eyed butler as well. Lets face it, for a girl that can't remember a face, she had a bit of an advantage in not being tortured at night by those eyes.
♥	Abby - Likes to give shots to those that least expect it. Didn't she ever learn that saying 'it won't hurt much' just makes it hurt all the more?
♣	Elani - Got a cake. And flowers. As far as birthdays go, that is probably a good start. But a cake....we hope she shares.
♠	Zoe - Reached for Five and found a place to settle. But how high does she intend to go? Surely Five, with her favorite Butler, is a good place for a former Heart, yes? Though we do wonder, where did she get those skills precisely?
♣	Tegan - Knows how to travel in style. And really, what Jack doesn't want to roll through their day like it was the easiest thing? Heh, watch out for those pitfalls, though. We hear their a bitch when you get older.
♠	Morgan - Sketches to think, but we can't help but wander what goes on in that little head of her's. Hey, Mormor, wanna play a game of Truth or Dare? First rule- you can't say dare.
♠	Amy - Is still learning that somethings just aren't good ideas. Like those heels, and talking down to that Jack. Honey, someday...just someday this will not end well for you.
♦	Silas - Is trying to cope with this past month. It hasn't been easy, but we get the feeling he'll get there. One step at a time.
♥	Sandy - Is trying to remember what all has changed, and what hasn't. All she needs is a red hood, now, and a basket of goodies for Grandmama and everything would be complete.

24th - 30th

♠	Nico - Knows trips do the soul some good, but the work of a Good Doctor is never done. Especially in the Spades.
♥	Jinx - Just got paint in her hair, oh my! But that is okay, because a girl with a plight, is always a girl with more white knights than she ever needs.
♣	Leona - Doesn't believe in wearing shoes on warm does, but she also doesn't believe that drinking has to wait until the end of the day- and she's not afraid to drag the unsuspecting along with her.
♣	Elisha - Likes to paint when he's angry, but watch out...that isn't the only thing this King has been known to like when he's angry.
♦	Avery - Has an important question about what sort of muffin you'd like. We really think that she didn't offer up enough options, however. However a bubblegum with cherries? What? It works for ice cream.
♠	Katya - Sometimes delivers things all on her own. Who said a Queen doesn't know how to do her own work? Idiots.
♥	Teddy - Is confused about the role of Jokers in this place. And who can blame him? Does anyone know what a Joker really does around her? Anyone? Buler?
♠	Meghana - Just wants to dance. And who would have ever pegged her for a nice Foxtrot sort of girl? Certainly not us.
♥	Jordan - Wants to be set free. Or at least he wants to get out for a run to clear his mind. Apparently Momma never taught her boys what to do without her. For shame, Mrs Novak, for shame.
♠	Clive - Just needs to stock up on his monthly supply of alcohol. Because lets face it, kids, no one can be Jack of Spades without a little gin to help the day go by just a bit faster.
♥	Gaberial - Likes to play with fire. Otherwise, really, just what makes this an explosive situation? Surely it wouldn't involve a former queen. Surely.
♦	Cadogan - Should really learn to smile like this to more than just swords. Like girls. Maybe he should try smiling at a girl sometime. It might do him some good.
♦	Avery - Can't seem to make up her mind about where she wants to be. First ten, then Jack, then ten again and now Ace? Honey- just stop.
♦	Tally - Brings a whole new meaning to pumpkin bash. Watch out, this isn't for little girls anymore.
♠	Nico - Is trying to do some case studies on memory loss, but it doesn't to help that eveyrone wants to interrupt him.
♥	Greylan - Found a Kitten that adopted him. He says he might not keep it, but we all know better than that.
♠	Amy - Just wants some alone time, to cry. But we all know what she needs is a tall, stiff one. No. Not that kind of stiff one.
♣	Peirre - Just wants to hear about how bad your day. No, really. He does. He really...really. Does.
Ɉ	Dybbuk - Knows that the only way to spice things up is to have the Circus come to town. That's right folks, step right up and see the wonders of the big top. And watch out for poop- who is responsible for cleaing around here?
♠	Julien - Just isn't in the mood. WHich is silly, of course. Because when is he in the mood? A certain Club wants to know.
♠	Davin - Needs to save face after that disappointing lose at pool that kept him firmly planted at Eight. Don't worry, we're all sure it was a fluke.
♥	HAdyn - Never got the memo about how paint is not in this fall. It is a crying shame, too. Because he's usually just so fashionable. But my, it is delicious to watch the mighty fall.
