When it's time, it's time
So, this... was bound to happen sooner or later. To keep it short and to the point: I am leaving the game.
Which feels odd to do, since I founded it and it feels so very weird to drop out of your own game that now no longer is your game -- you know what I mean.
It's been a year and five months (and five days) since the founding, and it's been an amazing time. I got to meet so many new, amazing RPers, I made friends with many of you, I had so much fun and it's been a fantastic experience from the beginning up until now.
But recently, it has become clear that my interest has been far from what it used to be. Far from what it's supposed to be, since as a mod, I ought to be more invested than the majority of players, and not less. And altogether, that's not the kind of attitude that makes a good mod in any way.
Athena, who was my first and now's my last character in the game, will be leaving the Deck due to getting treatment for an illness. She'll keep contact with David, of course, as well as any of your characters who've been friends with her.
I hope this game lives on, I hope it remains fun for you all, and I genuinely hope to cross RP-paths with some of you again eventually.
Until then, have all my love and shine on, you beautiful Diamondsand Hearts and Clubs and Spades!

Thank you so much for coming up with this marvelous idea that took off and grew and flourished. You've been a wonderful mod and player and will be missed. ♥ (Pretend all 4 suits are here. My work PC knocks me out when I try to make any other symbol.)

Me? I'm going to give you all the hugs because you are fantastic and I've had a great time threading with you always. And because, gurl, you created this. And even if it were only for that, you deserve all the hugs.
I hope RL treats you fantastically (if it does otherwise, I'll kick it in the balls). And be sure that we will meet again, somewhere, somewhen, but we will. :,)
