A change to hiatus/slowatus
So we were thinking that the rules about how hiatus/slowatus affects AC were a bit convoluted so we decided to slim them up a bit. (If you'd like to see the old ones, here they are.)
Starting from now, we will treat them like so:
If your slowatus is going to be longer than 3 weeks, you are automatically exempt from AC.
If your hiatus is going to be longer than 2 weeks, you are automatically exempt from AC.
If your hiatus/slowatus is less than that but you are having a serious problem getting to fulfill the AC requirements, please come and talk to the mods and let us know and we'll work something out.
Remember, AC requirements boil down to just 5 tags by your character in a given thread, and 3 threads minimum for the whole month. So it is theoretically possible to still be able to meet AC requirements in about 2 weeks, even if you only do one tag a day.
And also remember, for a hiatus/slowatus to be counted, you ought to put a comment in the hiatus post to make sure we see it.
