If your slowatus is going to be longer than 3 weeks, you are automatically exempt from AC.
If your hiatus is going to be longer than 2 weeks, you are automatically exempt from AC.
If your hiatus/slowatus is less than that but you are having a serious problem getting to fulfill the AC requirements, please come and talk to the mods and let us know and we'll work something out.
Remember, AC requirements boil down to just 5 tags by your character in a given thread, and 3 threads minimum for the whole month. So it is theoretically possible to still be able to meet AC requirements in about 2 weeks, even if you only do one tag a day per character.
And also remember, for a hiatus/slowatus to be counted, you ought to put a comment in the hiatus post to make sure we see it.
Here is a short explanation on how it works: On the 25th of each month, one of the mods will sit down and check, with the help of tags, whether you've all been nice and active. The exact requirements can be found under the "rules" section on the profile! This is also the reason why tagging your posts is so important - chances are that we else won't be able to see your posts/posts you commented on. So. Tag your things, lovely folk!
Also please note that generally, we consider a "thread" to consist of at least five comments by each character in the thread. So, for example, if you tag into a post and only tag twice, particularly if you have shown a pattern of barely making AC, we will likely not consider that a full thread.
Below is a list of those who are in danger of not passing AC this month. Should one (or more) of your characters be on the list, you have time until the 31st of December to meet the requirements. If you don't, the character will be dropped.

NOTE: AC list is a couple days early this month due to mod-vacationing and suchlike, but you still have until the 31st to complete it so no worries!
So the mods have conferred and decided that as your Happy New Year's gift, we are provided AC Forgiveness for the month of December! Basically...AC will not be counted on the 31st and whether you've made AC or not is no matter, you will not be dropped from the game. Mostly this is because we realize that a lot of people have been busy or not around because of finals and holidays and other things and it's been a bit extra difficult to make AC this month.
