Hi, guys. It's Angela~

This is Claudine Agata Mafalda de Beers (there's a joke in there about her suit). She's fourth-generation Diamond on her mother's side, currently sitting pretty at the rank of Six with no intention to climb, Claudine (called Claudy by friends) is proud of her Deck heritage. She's more than a little bit of a snob, looking down on those who come into the Deck from Outside. However, she's a firm believer in hard work, and secretly admires those who are a little different from what's expected.

Poised, polished, and educated perfectly for a little Deck princess, she's not known for any one skillset, and is actually a little forgettable unless you piss her off. The girl has a temper, especially when she sees something she considers 'unfair'. Blame it on being a Libra.

There's a bit more to her personality, but it'll all come out in play, I assure you! So, any background ties that need to be worked out here?

Okay okay now that I'm fully awake and functioning:

What would Claudine think about the whole Fitzgerald scandal?
Then Adrien is definitely interested in the Outside, which will be fun to play against her snobbishness.
He is actually practically the opposite of her - hardly loses his temper, loves the Outside, hates his Deck heritage, runs away from hard work...
The only similar thing is NO AMBITION. xD

Proper foils to one another--I'm looking forward to watching them play off one another.

I'm fairly sure that Isaac will approve of her, though never relax around her. Seeing as he's been a Diamond servant since age eleven, I'd guess that the two of them have known each other at least since then. She doesn't actually strike me as the kind, but if she was a bit more unthinking as a kid she could have been one of the youngsters that picked on Isaac, who back then was the walking definition of an easy target. If she was one that didn't, actually, he'd already have a soft spot for her.

Whichever way we take it, they'd have known each other pretty much forever.

I can see her as having been a bystander, not the ringleader. Someone who stood by and watched him be bullied. If he was ever one-on-one with her, she might have been nice, but in public? She was too busy thinking about how the important kids thought of her.

Being far more self-assured these days, I expect he gives her his world-class Reproachful Stare but never mentions it. Just pours her tea like a good boy.

She probably doesn't even realize what the stare's for.

...I was the one who got teased all through middle school, and it's starting up at my work. This character's very true-to-life.

As long as Claudine isn't overt about her Deckborn snobbishness, Avery will be perfectly nice to her. She's been dealing with snobbish Diamonds since she became a Diamond, after all, so she can play the game pretty well. If Claudine ever becomes snotty with her, the claws will come out, of course. XD

Ben will treat her with the utmost deference. While thinking she's an idiot. He doesn't much like the snobbish contingency, sorry. XD

Well, in that case, Claudine will be in the latter half of Ben's to-do list permanently. Probably not last, since there are undoubtedly far more full of themselves Diamonds about, but she'll get a lot of "I'll get to it as soon as possible, Miss Six, unless you'd like me to explain to Lady Säde why I haven't gotten to her office yet?"

Depending on the level of annoying, it'll be closer and closer to an incomprehensible accent. XD

Hmm, would she have thought the same about outside-born when she was a kid? Because a bit of my headcanon for Säde is that when she was a low Number she got foisted with kid-duties pretty often. It wouldn't have been very long overall, but it would be enough to seal her opinions about a number of the Diamond babies.

Oh, of course she had those opinions as a kid--we'll blame her parents (especially her mummy).

Well. This Four of Diamonds will give her The Stare when Deck-born prejudice comes into the conversation. Otherwise, if she takes good care of her horse (assuming she has a horse) Mel will give her the same brisk attitude she gives to everyone else, rank notwithstanding.

It'll be interesting to see if Frankie's Deck-born status wins out over the amount of time she spends away from the Deck. Sieben's from the outside, of course, and likely doesn't know her, and of course Dafydd's basically a non-person, he's so new.

Of course Claudy takes care of her horse (a grey named Cirrus, I think). Frankie, that'll be a tough call--but her over Itchy when it comes to doctors, because he's from Outside.

Sieben, she'd take issue with as an Outsider Jack who's barely earned his right to be here, let alone such a rank.

Glory most likely knew her mama, possibly even her grandmama; maybe there's a story there that influences how she views Claudy? Regardless, Glory probably thinks she needs a good smack upside the head (metaphorically!) for her snobbery.

I'm sure Sophie knows Claudine. I'm also certain with that attitude, Claudine probably hung out with the Sisters Three instead of with Sophie.

Though if she tries any Mean Girl antics around any of her friends, Sophie with the Berthier generations of Diamonds behind her will put her in her place.

...Chives approves of her snobbishness. But disapproves of her DIamondness. That is all. :|
