newbie says hello!

Hi! I'm Marie and a brand new player, though you might have played with taser_maiden or seen her around. I've seen you guys for a while and I've been interested but I decided I might as well stop peeking and try it and flail like mad.

I come bringing Lasandra Adare to you all, a six of heart and very content at being a six of heart. Sandy (to friends) is a child of an Outsider and the former Hearts court artist. She was raised in the Outside but heard stories from her mother. She finally saw the Deck when her mother became ill and when her mother died, she had to go back with her father to the Outside. But she fell in love with the place and returned after earning an art degree. She's still culturally an outsider though she tries her best to fit in. It's been her talent (and boy is she) that's helped her so far.

I suspect she hangs out with Outsiders a touch more than those raised in the Deck, however a few people within the Deck could have known her late mother, Diana.

She might have gone to sketch people. She is odd like that. And she is friendly but she is always afraid she is going to say something dumb and then someone is going to steal her rank and she won't ever be the court artist. DDD: (Of course, other things might prevent it BUT!)

Diana (another one!) was born in the Deck of a Heart family and may have left the deck around the age of 22 for inspiration. Diana returned about when Frankie would be in her mid 30s. Who knows? But she can also know Sandy through Tegan as well!

Not so much grilling (because she trusts that Tegan knows who she is dealing with) but a promise she will be VERY unhappy when he is not good to her. Never mind the fact Sandy looks like she is a pixie and is adorable while angry.

Shenanigans, what. Sieben is perfectly well-behaved at all times. Except for what he's about to get up to in his office with a certain newly-minted Ten of Diamonds.

Sieben's assistant kind of got herself into that position. Strong-armed. Sieben would have been a fool to say no, and Sieben is no fool.

You will be unhappy when if she sends him back to you in pieces, your Jackliness. Because, bitchy attitude aside, he does have potential and it'd be a shame to see that go to waste. Particularly since you'll never be able to prove that she did it :|||

Well that's something at least. Poor Avery, though. I imagine her life is about to get a whole lot more...colorful?

It was Avery's idea. She wants to tap that. I don't blame her.

If she wants to cultivate his potential, she can feel free, but her boyfriend might start wondering why she's adopting all these Spades.

Really though, Sieben is disturbingly amused by Six-Point-Five. He'd be sad if Oliver made it to Eight.

She is not adopting Spades. They're sort of...attaching themselves to her for no apparent reason and she's too polite to chase them off. Though she's thinking of investing in a large stick.

She will likely use Oliver as a covert excuse to start training for challenging up. Since she has apparently decided that the HR department needs to be kicked into shape, which means she'll be gunning for Nine -- though Eight first, she's not wanting to be unrealistic or draw too much attention to herself. Though seeing Olly twitch might just be worth it even if she breaks an arm and maybe some ribs in the process. Frankie will probably lineface forever, though.

I wasn't aware Sieben did any other kind of amused.
