Hi!
This is Clara (Judith and Joshua's mun) with a new character who's actually not a Heart, but a Diamond (a four like Joshua, though). Here's Hürrem, a Turkish girl in her late twenties that found the Deck after running away from her husband and her ultra-orthodox Muslim family. Even though she worked as an interpreter and translator (she actually found the Deck thanks to an old story she had to translate to Turkish) before arriving to the Deck, now she works as the Diamond's hairdresser and makeup artist.
She's generally a friendly girl with an optimist look on life, but be careful if you mention her family or her husband...

Well, he's good with make-up but they could exchange tips and doll eachother up sometimes and and and and annnndhgfryu they could like have make-up workshops together sometimes!!!!

Isaac will side-eye her because he is the best hairdresser in the Deck and everyone should let him do their hair forever in his opinion.

She probably goes to him for advice in hair-related things, (even if she later doesn't use it) mostly because she wants to have good relations with almost everyone in the suit (probably the Deck too) .

Sandy? Sandy will fawn and watch her do lovely things that are not being done to Sandy. Sandy is too much of a blur and bohemian to care about hair and make up for herself. But she knows that make up and hair styling is a form of art and it's beautiful and wonderful and watch her fawn as previously mentioned.

Christopher goes, "ohgodwomenthingsgetmeaway", I'm afraid (he doesn't believe certain movies his PB made exist). :| He's sure Hürrem is a wonderful person and he regrets not being able to ask questions on her background because cultural diversity is a wonderful thing and it would be good for his students. (Or possibly student.)

Does Hurrem still practice Islam in any form? Gabe'd probably be willing to help her with any religious needs she has. He's no imam, but he can acquire texts and any tools needed for rituals.

I can also see Claudy all up in Hurrem's business with hair and makeup, though the fact that she's an Outsider means there'll be some distancing.

She's still at odds with her identity as a Muslim because it brought her quite the bad time (thanks to her family) but she is trying her best to reconcile with it because that's part of herself, nonetheless. So maybe she'll go to Gabriel and ask for some sort of help in the matter.

It's fine with her, though. She knows that she still has to work hard for her place here.

That depends of when Cadogan cut off. Was it more than five years ago? Because that's when Hürrem arrived to the Deck.

Sophie will be much more interested in Hurrem's language skills than her hair abilities. What? Let someone mess around with her hair and be noticeable? Ugh, no. She's finally managed to allow Isaac to fuss over her but only on important occasions.

But she could get behind someone who speaks many languages the way she does.

I'd have to look to see if Katya knows any Turkish. She has a few in there.

Does she tutor. Because Säde would like Leigh to branch out while she's still young enough to absorb languages. Beyond that, I think Säde will have seen her once or twice but never really interacted much with her except for interpreting/translating purposes. But Leigh might know her a bit better?
