Hello there, lovely folks! Rekla here, with a new character!

This is Jeannie, a Three of Hearts. Her full history can be found here, but it is fairly TL;DR. Here be a shorter, somewhat watered down version:

Jeannie was born into the Diamond Suit, and lived in town during most of her childhood, though she frequently visited her grandfather in Diamond Castle, anyway. When she was fifteen, thus old enough to challenge, she followed her oldest brother, Theo (now a Nine of Diamonds), up to the castle. She made it to the rank of a Seven, her last challenge was in January 2011. She was countered in the same month, by a man named Eric Crawford who died in that challenge. Here's where things go down the drain. She couldn't live with having killed that man and left the castle, basically going back to her family in town... where things didn't go better at all. At the end of April, she attempted to commit suicide and was send to a mental health facility afterwards.

In November 2011, she returned to the Deck, though as suggested by her brother, she left the Diamond Suit to join the Hearts as a Two. She's been holding up well since then and just recently, she challenged up and became a Three. Though she's not looking to rise any farther up at the moment... or anytime ever.

Diamonds probably know her, since she's been one of them for a major part of her life. And she's probably met a couple of Hearts during her time in the Suit. And it's not unlikely for her to have met some Clubs or Spades.~

They'll totally trade books and ship fictional characters. Zoe probably brought Jeannie a PILE when she joined the Hearts :D "Welcome to the Suit I'm....leaving. HERE VAMPIRE EROTICA." Well, he'll be laid up after his challenge. One assumes that gives him time to snoop if he's inclined. :|

...Zoe just shakes her head at him. She'd give him a phone for the birthday she doesn't know about yet but she doesn't think it'd be appreciated.

That is so very wonderful. And LMAO, welcome-book-pile is a lovely thing. (But Zoe, prepare. She will worry a bit about you. ._. Challenges.) Absolutely. And then it will be funny for everyone and embarrassing for poor Zoe.

HAHAH, YES. Give him a phone, Zoe. But a small, hard-to-destroy one.

They can have long in-depth conversations about them to get Zoe's mind off...things like her boyfriend's Challenge Reputation and whether she'll be watching him kill someone at the end of the month :| (Zoe will probably not challenge again until she turns twenty-one, luckily. And then Jeannie can flail and Zoe can try...not to flail. :|)

Yes they can. And oh god, don't mention Victor's challenge reputation to Jeannie, Zoe. Jeannie can't deal with people dying in challenges anymore. :| (... They will end up flailing together. And Jeannie will be at the challenge. Eyes closed, head down. Until it's over.)

On the plus side, Victor apparently won't be killing anyone in this challenge. On the minus side, he will be getting his leg broken badly. So Zoe will be going "Jeannie please tell me you have wine. Please. :|" (...So much flailing. Zoe's first challenge in something she hasn't done for years and years. Plus months of anticipating doing it. Cue the quiet freakouts.)

That is a plus, definitely. :| VICTOR. Don't do such things. Jeannie doesn't really have wine, since she's not exactly trusted with alcohol by people due to things. ... She has tea, though. :| (What's her challenge going to be in? Maaaaybe Jeannie could help with training. Training CALMS.)

Tea will probably help. God knows Chives is conditioning her to believe that Tea Solves Everything. (I hadn't definitely decided...but, probably a sparring match with swords. I'M SORRY JEANNIE. :| But she'd appreciate any training help.)

That is because tea so solves everything. The first muse of mine that won't get drunk with Zoe. XD (... Jeannie will probably hide, with eyes closed and head down until it is over. But yes. There'd be training help. As long as Jeannie doesn't have to touch a real sword right away. XD)

It's probably just as well, otherwise she'd be developing alcoholism by the time she was twenty-two XD (Victor started training Zoe with blunted swords, so they can probably use those when they practice. XD)
