Hello, I'm Marie and I've been playing her since January.

wiredspade is Meghana Sankaran, she's a Ten of Spades and currently in charge of IT (and does a lot of hacking and cyber secruity). Her family's been on Deck since the very early 20th century so they're not new. But they sort of stand out. She's not entirely very social to most outside her Suit though there are a few. She pretends to be a sociopath/hideous but those close to her know she's a marshmallow. She did do some hideous things out of self defense but practically no one on Deck besides David knows about it.

Meghana knows sociopaths, she's deal with them for years and can spot one fairly quickly. Noel might be one of them. HOWEVER they can be in the special "I killed my parent(s) club" though Meghana killed her father in self defense.

heart_the_art is Lasandra Adare, a soon to be Seven of Hearts. Lasandra is the Outsider raised daughter of one of the old Court Artists for the Hearts and is member of the Molyneux family. If you want good arts or crafts, you go to a Molnyeux (pottery, jewelry, fine arts). She's better known as Sandy and is usually bright, bubbly, and known for doing stupid things despite her intelligence and has been diagnosed as bipolar. She's been a little subdue due to her challenge lately.

Noel's Outward personality makes it seem that she and Sandy'd get along like woah. And it would not shock me at all if they're friends though Sandy might notice something is off... if only due to Noel being a former Spadelet. Sandy's aunt instilled the fear of the Spades into her, but back fired when one of her other friends (Zoe) became a Spade. It's reasonable to say that Sandy's gotten over her fear of Spades considering events of late.

schoollikenew is Christopher Kahl who is a pure outsider but has spent the last 11 years on Deck as a teacher and currently the head tutor of Eileen. Christopher is a Five of Clubs and retains his position due to being a teacher in Town and teaching students from more than one Suit. He wanted to remain approachable to all Suit parents. Christopher is a quiet and kind man, struggling with depression though that's been getting better.

I wonder if there was teaching going on here? Christopher was teaching on Deck right around when Noel was 9. At the very least, I'm sure her parents attempted to lure him to become a tutor because he is considered one of the best educators on Deck. Former student/teacher relationship going on here?

Lol she can talk to her and try to find what makes her tick all she wants. Noel is pretty darn good at pretending to be a normal human being though, so she might not find anything beyond her giving off a weird vibe at times.

YAY FRANDS. Noel will be quick to tell her she has no ties with the Spades. At all. Literally. She's a Wild Card, baby.

Maybe he did teach her a bit? Then he would probably know her better than many, since Noel from ages 1 to 15 was something of a hollow, soulless and completely shut in girl that rarely disobeyed and didn't act at all like a girl of her age.

For the majority of the sociopaths she deals with, she gives a cool steady gaze and no emotions for them to read. And since she assumes that every Spade ever is sociopath after a certain rank, this can be very fun or very boring. The thing is, now that I think about it, Noel got the childhood Meghana ALMOST nearly got except her parents loved their kids. But around when Noel was born, David became King and Meghana's mom was all "NO MORE RAISING KIDS TO BE FACE CARDS". And yet, she is the highest ranking one of her family. Go figure.

It mattered a lot when Sandy moved on the Deck. Spade born was just as bad as Spade so her being friends with Noel was a step in the right direction. But seeing that she visited (and will again) Zoe all the time a few months back, got encouraged to go visit the Arcana by the late Jack of Spades, and is currently in a It's Complicated with Nico, she will now fully accept Noel is a Wild Card. \o/

I would like that! She'd be at the age for his first class and he would notice that Noel was very much like that. And he tried to talk to colleagues and they're like LOL No Social Services. And Chris lined faced forever. :|

So I imagine she once gave her The Stare and Noel started to sing Pokerface. Because it was totally necessary. There's probably bonding over their family history. Well, "bonding", but it's tedious to remember everyone in every comment she's acting.

One day Noel will make her a Coming Out of the Suit party. Or something.

There might be tension between them, if he worries. Which is good. I'm always open for her changing with time.
