July's Voicetest and Enabling Post [a twofer!]

Here be rules and explanatory things!~
1. Taking part is not mandatory! If you wish to test-drive a new muse, here's the place, but if you'd rather app them without testing - that's perfectly legit, too. :3

2. There are suggestions for scenarios behind the cut. You can use the RNG to roll a relationship and a situation, but you are absolutely free to come up with a scenario of your own. It's more like a friendly suggestion/bit of inspiration from out side.~

3. You may voicetest as many characters at once as you like, and testing them here doesn't make apping mandatory. It's supposed to help you get a hold on the character's voice and to help you decide whether they would fit into the setting or not.

4. Please, keep the following in mind:
a) nothing that happens in this meme is canon or has to be taken into the game. This applies to both the CR and the situation at hand - though if you like it? Talk about it and make it canon once your muse got in.~
b) taking part does not assure that your muse will get into the game.
c) it's just a meme. It's here to help and to have fun, nothing more, nothing less.

5. For the voicetesting characters only: please fill out the short form below:.

Player name: Your name/online alias
Character name: Your character's name.
Character Rank/Suit: The rank your character holds and the suit they are in.
Short description: Three to five short sentences that will give some basic information on your character. This could include their occupation (or whether they are new to the deck), mention existing relationships to characters already in the game (as long as that has been discussed with the character's muns) and maybe a few words on the character's personality. Don't link to an already written app/the character's whole history/an essay on their personality. It's just supposed to be a synopsis.

6. You can also post a character that is already in the game so people can bounce their voicetesting characters off of you! Actually, this is very much welcomed. Do it! :D If you want to.

As stated above, here is a list of the relationships and scenarios you can roll out in case you don't want to come up with something else or just like randomness a lot.

Relationships
1. Acquaintances - You have seen each other around, but rarely exchanged more than a couple of words. Time to chance that!
2. Friends - What it says on the tin. Maybe you've known each other for a long time, maybe not - whichever works best.
3. Colleagues - For some reason, you two work together a lot - be it cross-suit work or inter-suit things, you keep ending up doing important stuffs together.
4. Lovers - What it says on the tin. Secret or not, just crushing or close to married, it's The Wuv between you two.
5. Exes - When No. 4 went bad. This may or may not get awkward.
6. ENEMIES - You hate each other. That's all there is to say.
7. ??? GO WILD!

Situations
1. Surprise!assignment - For some reason, your King/Queen/whoever decided you two should work together on a gloriously random project. Even crackier when it's off-suit.
2. Suddnely, date. - Can be a blind date, an assignment taking a funny route or an Actual Date (or whatever else, really). Go out, have fun. Wheee.
3. Challenges! - Either that person challenged you, or you challenged that person, or you are going to challenge soon or ... whatever challenge-related scenario you want to have here.
4. Morning After - What happened last night? Where are we? I have no idea, you play it out.
5. Party, PARTY! - It's time to celebrate a thing! IDEC what thing! Maybe it's a masquerade or a fun evening at the Four Suits Pub...
6. Bad Day - For all your emo needs. One person has a bad day, the other comforts them. Or makes it worse. Or anything else.
7. ??? GO WILD.


ALSO: If you would like to be enabled into creating a new character or if you have a requested character (or character type or face or whatever) you'd like to see in the game...post them under the comment thread titled "enabling requests". :) OR if you just want to see them put in a musemostwanted post in a few days before we open apps, we'll be posting some descriptions of wanted characters there. :)

2-2 because old families suck?

For whatever reason, Rowan's family hadn't gotten the. Essays she wanted nothin to do with their ridiculous plots to make her a proper lady. They had, however, managed to send her up to meet Darien, who wasn't just a friend of her, but most importantly another high ranking card from yet another couple of big, old families, just like the Justices; he was most likely one of thefew friendships of hers they weren't a tad too critical about, and the only reason she had accepted, really.

So there she was, sittig outside some fashionable cafe, feeling ridiculous. St least she had managed to leave that house in jeans and a jacket, although they were several times fancier and more expensive than her usual clothes, usually intended to get dirty and broken. Well, she at least looked 'like a lady' according to her mother.

Darien is actually quite fond of his old, prestigious family. They're all a bit arrogant, but so is he, really, and they mean well enough. Even gave up on Eligible Young Ladies when he made it clear that he preferred Eligible Your Men.

He imagined he was supposed to drill more social etiquette down Rowan's throat, but she knew all the rules, so when he arrives, he just sits and raises his hand for service. "Another delightful day on the home front?"

Rowan just sinks a bit lower on her chair hands on her face. "Nothing good ever comes of being summoned to that big, fancy, old house." The Justices had an image to stand for, sure, and Rowan, being the oldest daughter, had to be the perfect example of a proper lady. Too bad she had started getting into barfights as soon as she could start challenging.

At least she would be able to have a moderately fun time. Or something. "I swear, Mother is probably set in her ways about you and...your ways, otherwise I can't possibly explain why is this happening." A sigh. "Then again, the odds of you going out to me to dance and get wild are..." And that was his cue to prove her right.

"Slim at best, darling. I'm an old man, I like my beauty rest." Ah, sweet, essential to human life coffee. Darien gives the waitress a faint smile of approval.

"So what are they trying to get you to do now? High tea with the Queen? Judith is even less of a lady than you."

"Have you ever not looked fabulous?" She couldn't remember a single time, actually. Rowan just nodded to the waitress when she set her tea in front of her. She wasn't a fan of coffee, and drank it only when she was expected to stay awake for long periods of time.

"Hah, I would hardly try to measure my unladylike-ness with the Queen, but I think we're pretty on par in terms of it." Then again, she had just said she wouldn't. "No, they're back on trying to get my married. Chances are they want me to send you in some sort of quest for eligible, young, rich men willing to mingle with an old house."

He adds cream and sugar to his coffee, his eyebrows climbing high. "A quest for a husband? Well, I can't say Mother and Father ever tried that one before I convinced them that I was so very not interested in a bride, but possibly it would have spend up the dance out of the closet."
