Come to think of it, he could meet Katya running, too, though she normally gets hers in before the crack of dawn. He's probably familiar with her (as she would mark him because of his profession and rank) because she was a high number and is now a Royal--and a flirt. It's highly possible she's flirted (or more) at some point in the past. She doesn't do as much of that now that she's Queen. (Too much baggage attached to the rank and behavior.)

They definitely grew up together. Cooper has an older sister (Riley) who left the Deck after a failed challenge and is now married with 2 kids. His mum's a gardener and his dad an accountant. I agree with you; they must have a nodding acquaintance (probably more). I wouldn't object to Coop having a close mate his age. Most cards are young enough they'd have known his younger brother better than him.

Now, the important questions: How does Caleb feel about footie (Australian football) though he's big on rugby and that other footie with the white and black ball?

Younger Caleb was all about the team sports; he played football/soccer (striker) for a while in his pre-teen/teen years, but stopped when he moved to Brooklyn. After that he was more withdrawn and prone to isolation. Still watched the World Cup matches, though. I don't imagine he'd be entirely averse to learning more about Australian-rules football/rugby, especially if he has a particularly persuasive close friend from childhood he's reconnecting with. :] Could be they ran into each other a few years back when both were freshly back? Heck, might even work out that Cooper was the one who told him about his parents' change of suit when he came back to the Deck looking for them?

As for Katya, they're definitely at least passingly familiar. Perhaps they've crossed paths while running. If she has flirted, he probably hasn't noticed; he's kind of oblivious about romantic advances, and generally takes people at face value ("This boy told me I was pretty today" meaning "Do you think I'm pretty too?" and his response being "That's nice" meaning "what does that have to do with anything we were saying?" etc.). So unless she was like, "You. Me. Naked. Now" he likely didn't get the hint. So there's that?

I was going to talk for Cooper, but I just can't do it when logged in as Katya. XD Cooper says someone with Caleb's build should try rugby (or footie, but he's given up hope of that ever getting going on Deck). That's quite possible. Frankie was still around then (the old Club doctor) but Caleb could well have assisted her with saving his dad (heart attack). And the latter works, too. He'd have known about it. Himself? He changed Suits so he wouldn't be in his parents' pockets.

Aw, she will think it is adorable he is not noticing. Mainly she's a flirt, whether or not anything comes from it. In a way, it's refreshing not to have to worry about those things, and she does enjoy speaking her native tongue.
