They are split between Suits only because that seemed the most sensible way to divide them up ♥♣♦♠

heartstrine Cooper Elliot, 8 of Hearts
Cooper (36) was born a Club (his parents--a gardener and an accountant) still are Clubs. Currently, he's the Exec. chef and caterer for the Hearts, so he and Lasse may know each other.

belowcastle Gideon Pryce 4 of Clubs
Gideon (23) is the Club Butler and raised a Club. He's spent his entire life in service (below stairs). I'm afraid he judges Lasse for leaving the Deck for Outside but has decided to forgive him since he exhibited the good sense to return. He's a bit OCD, very superstitious and has been known to turn to drink under times of stress.

jestincase Jubilee, a Joker - What can I say? Like all Jokers, she's generally cheerful with an odd sense of humor and way of looking at things.

maidenthespade Katya/Queen of Spades
Katya (31) is from Outside. It's known she's Russian or Ukrainian (1/2 and 1/2 actually). She doesn't advertise her past, though it's clear she's had more than your usual amount (much more than many Deck-born) of martial training. She rose swiftly through the Spade ranks to 10 of Spades, where she oversaw Human Resources and did the bulk of the then-queen's work that wasn't deemed too confidential. When Athena ran off about a year ago, she took over as Queen. She puts a charming and friendly face on the Spades.

threecardmonty Monty (Drew Montgomery) 5 of Clubs
Monty (33) has been in the Deck about 4 years now. He's currently the stable master and sometimes ambassador to the Spades. He talks with a drawl and is pretty laid back.

onlytolerable Sophie Berthier, 8 of Diamonds
Sophie Emmeline Margaux Berthier (27)is known for her deep red hair, even redder blushes and for running the Diamond Library (which she'll tell anyone who'll listen is the best library in the Deck). She's also known for (notorious?) being the head of one of the oldest Deck families and for losing three challenges in a row five years ago and dropping to the rank of Five. Oh? And those challenges? Were made by her sisters. This past year has seen her claw her way back to Eight with no end in sight.

grrranimals Tess Bowen, 9 of Clubs
Tess (26) is a Deck born Club from a Club family of three or four generations. She (along with her semi-retired grandfather) is also a veterinarian. She's part of an enormous extended family (five half-brothers and sisters, seven half-siblings unacknowledged, their spouses and children plus aunts and uncles and cousins). Her mother's remarried (a Swede) while her sperm donating father (a Diamond) continues to make babies wherever he can. Tess is a gregarious, fun-loving flirt and likely to stand him to a drink.
