Intro >> Gil
Hey everyone! It's Dee again. I play Meera and I'm bringing in a new character.
Gil is a Seven of Diamonds. He's unstable as far as rank goes (read: if a challenge is based on strength or endurance, he will lose), but over the past year he's settled himself in the Eight to Five range. Gil has been in the Deck for six years and works as a bookkeeper for the Diamonds. His wife, Greg, comes from a well-established Diamond family and is a Ten currently sussing out if she should challenge the Queen or the Jack. Gil stays out of all that. Deck politics don't interest him at all, and the less he knows about them, the cleaner the books will be.
You can always count on him to behave in public. He avoids the spotlight like a cockroach and does his best to make his fellow Diamonds stand out. An extremely cool customer, Gil can read as dull or shy or plain affectless depending on your point of view. Bottom line is, he likes to keep his personal business under wraps.
What else, what else. He cycles through the pubs and inns in the Deck as to keep from going home each night. It's likely you know him as the humorless dick drinking a vodka tonic over a book. He's also been cheating on his wife for about a year now, so feel free to have your characters know about that. I never specified who he was/is cheating with, so if you want one of your characters to take up that role, let me know.
His profile is here and it's just as boring as this introduction. I swear he'll get more interesting over time.
