House of Cards OOC

So, some of you know and remember Lucas Addison (Addy)- as such, the important thing is to know he's a much happier bloke now than when he'd left to do some intense therapy.

Quick run down (in my 'I hate intros' fashion): Addy is an Eight of Clubs who spent a good portion of his time off deck between 17 and 26. During that time he'd been an active Marine in the Royal Marine's Special Forces (SBS) and served in Afghanistan. He was reported MIA during his last year when his convey came under attack and he was taken prisoner by insurgents. Due to the resulting PTSD, Addy was eventually medically discharged and returned to the Deck. There he took up being Eileen's bodyguard after Lance's death. Eventually, though, he was granted a spot in a Chicago rehab that specialized in Combat PTSD.

So he went.

And now he's back, feeling a bit more like his Pre-War, chipper self. :)

So we were discussing it and we know sometimes folks feel a little discouraged about posting things in the last few days of the month because of AC reasons so we've decided to tweak how we go about it a bit to try and mitigate that:

AC list still goes up on the 25^th. You are still required to have at least three threads per character. We still ask you to tag posts you make and posts you tag into with your character's name.

However, when we count AC on the 25^th, if we find that a given character has not made enough threads in the current month, we will check things their name is tagged onto if they happened after the 25^th of the previous month and if that thread carried over significantly into the current month.

So. Say Jim-bob has two threads that count for AC in April when the list is being made. But say he also tagged into a post that was put up on the 31^st of March and most of the thread was actually done during April and if it had been posted in that month, would have counted for AC. That thread could be counted too and now Jim-bob has three threads and makes AC for the month of April.

As usual, if we miss a thread or post and your character ends up on the AC list, it's okay, just make a comment as usual and let us know.
