Hello my lovelies. This is Jordan, and I come bearing gifts.
I mean, new characters. Er. Singular.
Welcome Kestrel Finley, call him Fin. Deck born, and obsessed with history, he joined the Clubs and became their resident Professor with a focus in Deck-specific history and statistics. He's extremely miffed about this whole Arcana nonsense and it's lack of useful and applicable information within the Deck libraries.
He is also extremely absent minded about anything and everything except what he's currently focusing obsessively on. Or, in other words, anything but his lovely, dusty books. He somehow manages to live completely on chocolate, red wine, and espresso; unless someone puts something else to eat in front of him. And then he'll only eat it out of reflex.
Mm... Additionally - he's not particularly nice. That isn't to say he's deliberately mean, but he just doesn't think about the things that come out of his mouth when he's talking to people. So he's rude, and can be a little... well, mean, sometimes. Particularly when you interrupt his work. Jut call him on it. He'll probably feel appropriately guilty.

How old is Fin?

As a small child, Sophie was given to running away and hiding in trees. Not sure how well they would have known each other given the age difference--huge when you're kids.
ETA: Yes, this is H/V!Sophie account. Too lazy to change log-ins.

Read: Iota is that girl who keeps messing around in his library. And who probably asks him lots and lots and lots of questions about Deck-history.

In the most teacher kind of way.

She might try to occasionally get him to eat things like fruits. Or vegetables. Or meat. And stuff.
Maybe ice cream.
Because: someone once taught her that living off of candy doesn't work.

...Everybody likes Eileen.
But Evan is far to happy and rambunctious. Unless he comes bearing coffee. And Then Fin likes him.

Evan will happily bring him coffee and such. But the price will absolutely be "now I'm going to babble at you cheerfully until you start throwing things." He's... maybe 5-6 years older than Evan, yes?

I like Fin already. <3 <3 Chocolate and espresso~
Andrea is 29 and only a few years younger than him. She might have tried to hang out with him when she was still around in the Deck and ran away from the her lessons with her tutors and needed to hide somewhere.
Him just saying what was on his mind would have been interesting to her due to, you know, Appearances Being Everything being pounded in her head from an early age. He would have been dubbed 'Incredible' in her books but that would have never been said outloud.
Could have looked up to him juuust a bit too. Juuuust a bit.no subject
Yes, they may have hung out. If it was in the library. And quietly >.>
XD I hope he comes out as well as I'm thinking he will, since this whole speak-his-mind thing might be a little difficult.

Welp. You're required to thread with your Jack, Historian. If just because it'll make me happy to see his scruffy face, if I can't use it myself. LOL.

...It's because I love the Dresden Files. I couldn't resist the lure of his careless scruff...

Not that I have any particularly good ideas. Isaac probably just weirdly weirds his weird old self around him as per usual, Garrett would likely annoy him by being a sunshiney scruffbag and Oliver is just indifferent to everything not that much related to his work. :| If he's snarky, I foresee happy snark-offs.
But yaaay, new character. <3
