Hello my lovelies. This is Jordan, and I come bearing gifts.

I mean, new characters. Er. Singular.

Welcome Kestrel Finley, call him Fin. Deck born, and obsessed with history, he joined the Clubs and became their resident Professor with a focus in Deck-specific history and statistics. He's extremely miffed about this whole Arcana nonsense and it's lack of useful and applicable information within the Deck libraries.

He is also extremely absent minded about anything and everything except what he's currently focusing obsessively on. Or, in other words, anything but his lovely, dusty books. He somehow manages to live completely on chocolate, red wine, and espresso; unless someone puts something else to eat in front of him. And then he'll only eat it out of reflex.

Mm... Additionally - he's not particularly nice. That isn't to say he's deliberately mean, but he just doesn't think about the things that come out of his mouth when he's talking to people. So he's rude, and can be a little... well, mean, sometimes. Particularly when you interrupt his work. Jut call him on it. He'll probably feel appropriately guilty.

He's four years older than Sophie. They probably know each other, if nothing else as the tight-fisted archivist who doesn't let go of her materials. Play nice and she will ply him with Godiva chocolate and set aside tomes she'd never let Adrien near--assuming he knows how to treat them.

As a small child, Sophie was given to running away and hiding in trees. Not sure how well they would have known each other given the age difference--huge when you're kids.

ETA: Yes, this is H/V!Sophie account. Too lazy to change log-ins.

She likes him already then and cannot wait to say to Adrien, "Why can't you be more like Fin? He wears the gloves."

I doubt they would have known each other much either. Different Suits and different ages will do that. Besides, her handlers were pretty fierce.

Also, Harry Dresden (even though he looks nothing like book Dresden). Makes me smile just to look at the PB. He doesn't have a talking skull does he?

if he behaves, she will ply him with tea (or caffeine of his choice) and chocolate and dusty old tomes. (Only, not dusty because (1) Sophie wouldn't allow that and (2) Isaac.)

I liked the show once I let go of my, 'But--but--but--he's not 6'6" and Murphy is blonde and Bob is a skull--A. SKULL!' and all the other book fan protests. I wish it had continued.
