Well hello~ My name is Signs and I've been convinced to come here by the lovely Myriad, who should get an award her enabling skills. Met in class, less than two hours later I'm checking out this place's site, next morning I've submitted an application. I'm a currently a fifth-year Asian Studies student ( yes I know my major is worthless ), I love meeting new people, and the best way to contact me is via AIM at TheWaywardI. Please note: I am often invisible, so please feel free to drop a message even if it says I'm offline. If nothing else, I'll probably get it in a couple of hours.

The incredible derp you see in these icons is Jesse Pennington, a six of Hearts, recently returned to the deck after a bit of soul-searching in the "real world" for the last ten years. If your character is around the age of 27, they might have crossed paths in their early teens, but he was probably at least a little more gangly back then. He likes word-games, tongue-twisters, puns and other annoying vocabulary-related hobbies, which gives him a tendency to natter endlessly if given the chance. Don't worry--if you interrupt he'll listen with equal interest.

Jesse's probably been kicking around for a few months lately, but most of his efforts have been going into putting together a coffee shop in town. It'll be open soon, ready to display the artwork of local talent and provide glorious caffeine to all the Deck. Is there anyone who might have run into him, or is interested in having him hang some paintings?

Yeah, I've only known about this place for like three days and its level of enabling seems somewhat legendary to me. I recall the word being used quite a lot when it was being pitched to me...

I'd totes be for that! He wandered around America and a bit of Europe, and was doing this and that and some of those. It'd be easy to see them running across each other, as kids, later or both.

It is. It really is. The enabling going on here is rampant and fun. You will be juggling more than two accounts because you will be tempted to join and shall join the AUs we have running around at House of Crack. It will be worth it, I assure you.

Both is possible. :D Them being kiddy friends and running across each other during their leaves from the Deck. She'll totally drop by at his coffee shop to say 'hello' to him and possibly glomp him because Andrea here had very few friends when younger. She will cling on to you, cling. Get ready for all the dorkiness from an apparent Spade.

Glomps are appreciated so long as he is not holding a hot beverage, otherwise she might get hurt and all. 8 | And dorikiness is appreciated at all times, and he won't even notice the spade-thing for a while. He's sort of a dork and is like 'pffft we can all get along regardless of a card symbol. come all, rejoice in the togetherness of coffee.'

Andrea likes seeing people who like seeing her but she knows when not to hug someone holding hot liquid in their hands. :| <3 She's more of a tea lover but coffee is appreciated when she wants to stay wide awake from her horrible nightmares sleeping. Andrea and Jesse can rejoice in all the coffee they can and if he wants, she can work in the coffeeshop to help him out when it's still new. Needs more work to do besides being a runner/sort-of gardener for the Spades.

Andea should be happy to know that Jesse's establishment shall carry a variety of teas, and there will not be a tea bag in sight. All loose leaf. But I cannot tell you how much he will appreciate the help once he gets started. He's not actually sure how well a coffee shop will go over (I mean, wouldn't they have one already if people wanted it...?) but it seems there will be quite a few regulars already.

If Andrea needs to plug it whenever she talks to a friend, she will do it. The coffee shop will go well because it will make Jesse happy and she likes seeing her friends happy no matter what. But do expect lots of Spades to come in now and then? 'Sleep' is apparently a foreign word to them with how a lot of the Cards in the Suit don't do much of it these days like Andrea here. :| 'Sleep is for the weak' might have been taken too seriously with them~

'Not sleeping at all ever' is actually one of the few things Jesse DOES disapprove of, so some people might accidently find themselves getting decaf. psh like they can taste the difference But only if things are looking dangerous.

Sorry Jesse but Andrea doesn't like sleeping and will avoid it at all costs. Don't judge her when she has circles under her eyes and seems so slow. ;__;
