Well hello~ My name is Signs and I've been convinced to come here by the lovely Myriad, who should get an award her enabling skills. Met in class, less than two hours later I'm checking out this place's site, next morning I've submitted an application. I'm a currently a fifth-year Asian Studies student ( yes I know my major is worthless ), I love meeting new people, and the best way to contact me is via AIM at TheWaywardI. Please note: I am often invisible, so please feel free to drop a message even if it says I'm offline. If nothing else, I'll probably get it in a couple of hours.

The incredible derp you see in these icons is Jesse Pennington, a six of Hearts, recently returned to the deck after a bit of soul-searching in the "real world" for the last ten years. If your character is around the age of 27, they might have crossed paths in their early teens, but he was probably at least a little more gangly back then. He likes word-games, tongue-twisters, puns and other annoying vocabulary-related hobbies, which gives him a tendency to natter endlessly if given the chance. Don't worry--if you interrupt he'll listen with equal interest.

Jesse's probably been kicking around for a few months lately, but most of his efforts have been going into putting together a coffee shop in town. It'll be open soon, ready to display the artwork of local talent and provide glorious caffeine to all the Deck. Is there anyone who might have run into him, or is interested in having him hang some paintings?

This heart is almost exactly that age, but she wasn't here as a child... she came just a few years ago. and became their gardener.
He's more than welcome to cut her flowers if that's the sort of thing he likes to paint.

Um. And Penny here has a tendency to hit on any guy who seems interesting? But she has a problem sustaining relationships. Tends to date outside the deck, but if Jesse ever needs a fling or ill advised one night stand, PM me.

Oh. I'm Aleja. And besides Penny, 5 of Hearts, I play the Queen of Clubs (Argine) and Delilah, the still-Eight of Spades. Her last challenge did not go so well.

Oooh, gardener. He might have to just come around to look at them and smell them, and maybe regain a sense of smell that can detect anything other that coffee. As for hitting-on and flings, Jesse is... sort of a derp. He doesn't usually get that he's being hit on because he files all positive interaction under the header of 'YAY FRIENDS.' Similarly, he's not opposed to one night stands. Once... it's been made abundantly clear that's what someone is going for. 8D So yeah, I'm all for it, we might have to at some point.

The Heart Gardens are spectacular. Really blooming under her tutelage. Well. Will be. In the spring. Right now it's mostly greenery.

And she can be pretty forward, sometimes. So whenever you like. Though she's likely going to gravitate towards Johnny around Valentine's day... they have a tendency to do that. Sleep with each other when they're not dating anyone else...
