This is shorter than I thought it would be! - (aka CR-post!)

Hello there, lovely folks! Rekla here, with a new character!

This is Jeannie, a Three of Hearts. Her full history can be found here, but it is fairly TL;DR. Here be a shorter, somewhat watered down version:

Jeannie was born into the Diamond Suit, and lived in town during most of her childhood, though she frequently visited her grandfather in Diamond Castle, anyway. When she was fifteen, thus old enough to challenge, she followed her oldest brother, Theo (now a Nine of Diamonds), up to the castle. She made it to the rank of a Seven, her last challenge was in January 2011. She was countered in the same month, by a man named Eric Crawford who died in that challenge. Here's where things go down the drain. She couldn't live with having killed that man and left the castle, basically going back to her family in town... where things didn't go better at all. At the end of April, she attempted to commit suicide and was send to a mental health facility afterwards.

In November 2011, she returned to the Deck, though as suggested by her brother, she left the Diamond Suit to join the Hearts as a Two. She's been holding up well since then and just recently, she challenged up and became a Three. Though she's not looking to rise any farther up at the moment... or anytime ever.

Diamonds probably know her, since she's been one of them for a major part of her life. And she's probably met a couple of Hearts during her time in the Suit. And it's not unlikely for her to have met some Clubs or Spades.~

Sounds perfect! Jeannie was probably a bit awkward the first time she saw Avery again, because she likely wasn't sure how to react, but as time passed, she surely managed to act more normal-ish. It's also possible that Jeannie's visited Ava during the last three months or so - she's occasionally in Diamond castle to visit her brother.

Zoë and her probably met and talked a couple of times? Idk, idk.

XD She does. And she does pretty good, solid work, though it's possible that she's late to a meeting or other on occasion. She's still getting a hold on that, though.

Ava would have fed her cookies and not asked any prying questions, I imagine, and Avery probably still pawns Midnight Stress Baking off on her when she's over Heart way.

It seems...likely. They might run into each other more when Zoe's visiting the Hearts.

Excellent. XD Jordan's not very hard as a boss, although he does insist upon excellent, detail-oriented work. Probably just gives her an amused look when she runs in late, though. XD

Which would have helped Jeannie's uneasiness a great deal, I believe. (And always yes to baked goods heading Jeannie's way. Girl needs to put some weight on. :| )

They should get along just fine, then. Jeannie's got a bit of a thing for details, and hey, years as a Diamond taught her all the things about How To Do Work For/Of a Higher Ranking Card. So. :3

All the brownies, Jeannie. Avery actually has to use her kitchen now ~~due to breaking up with Isaac over promotions~~ so Jeannie can expect aaaaall sorts of baking experiments :D

And apparently they're distant cousins now. XD

I feel like Jordan's Spade side and Jeannie's Diamond side will probably mesh quite well. XD

Brownies are so much appreciated. :D As are other baking experiments. Jeannie won't question any of that. And live off of baking goods longer than any other person on the planet ever did.

Living off baked goods is the best way to live. /should get lunch cookies soon

It really is. Nobody can be sad when there are baked goods to have. /yes, you should. Because cookies SO count as a meal. :D

Also I just realized hilariously that Jeannie's PB is the same one I have for Talulla Fox in TNG. XD

...Clearly this means that the Parkers and the Huntlys/Kattalakises are related somehow.

Hm, let's see. Lewis, her father, came to the Deck as a child, so it's probably not the Parkers. BUT her mother, Darciella (born Noapte), is from a pretty influential Diamond-family. So maybe Richard, Darciella's father, had a sister who married a Huntley and...?

The Huntlys are a pretty huge family - Zoë has several NPC cousins littered around Heart Castle, even though she's an only child. So I could see Jeannie's great-aunt marrying one of Zoë's great-uncles and connecting two old Red Suit families that way? XD

:D YES. Because family relations all over the place are clearly a thing. /that's four more NPC cousins to add to the list. Jeannie has a lot of siblings.

The Deck: You're either from Outside, or you're related.

So likely these two were thrown together at family functions, being approximately the same age. Zoe would have been spending most of her time those days with a nose in a book or playing games on her phone. XD LEARN TETRIS, JEANNIE.

She teases, oh Zoe, she teases. Until you realize that, hey, her teasing is far to detailed for someone who so hasn't read the books. :|

And then...they bond over ridiculous plotlines. For they are ridiculous. And Zoe moans when Victor catches her reading them ~~as he has in memeland oh lord~~

...She doesn't know. But. Sigh. He even hates computers. And he keeps borrowing her phone and jabbing at it in attempts to make calls or send text messages. :|

Yes. Yes, that exactly. And there will be shipping of fictional characters, because. ~~That has to become canon. HAS TO.~~

They'll totally trade books and ship fictional characters. Zoe probably brought Jeannie a PILE when she joined the Hearts :D "Welcome to the Suit I'm....leaving. HERE VAMPIRE EROTICA." ~~Well, he'll be laid up after his challenge. One assumes that gives him time to snoop if he's inclined. :|~~

...Zoe just shakes her head at him. She'd give him a phone for the birthday she doesn't know about yet but she doesn't think it'd be appreciated.

That is so very wonderful. And LMAO, welcome-book-pile is a lovely thing. (But Zoe, prepare. She will worry a bit about you. ._. Challenges.) ~~Absolutely. And then it will be funny for everyone and embarrassing for poor Zoe.~~
